The Armory is a community arts center offering innovative approaches to creating, exploring, and presenting the arts to students of all ages, with contemporary art exhibitions and performances, studio art classes and educational outreach programs to schools and throughout the community.

The Park Avenue Armory Conservancy is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to restoring the Park Avenue Armory and bringing it back to life as a dynamic center for the visual and performing arts, following a model of adaptive reuse for artistic uses found in several European and American cities, but not in New York.
