We are a UK registered charity, whose specific mandate is to help the most impoverished & needy people in today’s society; persons with long term drug addiction & chronic alcoholism issues, homelessness, victims of abuse, and anyone that needs our help. We accept both men & women into our segregated centres, and can usually provide a bed within a day or two of the initial contact, whereas most rehabs have a long waiting list, and generally a high fee to enter. Betel of Britain charges no fee for the services we provide, nor do we receive any government help – everything we do is fully funded by the work of our residents, and by kind donations such as yours. In this way we encourage our men & women to develop a good work ethic – something many have never known. www.betel.co.uk contains more information on our work in the UK.We have long term residential centres in 80 cities in over 20 countries as an international organization; in the UK we have centres in Birmingham, Nottingham, Derby, Watford & Dublin, currently housing over 200 men & women at no cost to the taxpayer.
