During the past 35 years Jackie Scharff has devoted her energy to learning numerous ways to promote emotional health and make healing possible for individuals, couples, and families. I practice holistically, combining trauma recovery theories and treatments with a fundamental basis in Intergenerational Family Therapy, based on Contextual Family Therapy and Family Systems Theory. In addition I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Psychodynamic Therapy, TFT (Thought Field Therapy), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Focusing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Allowing the mind/body connection to strengthen promotes the individuality of each therapy session and experience. EMDR Network provides access to information, resources, cautions and research updates to clients and clinicians evaluating and participating in EMDR therapy. The EMDR Network is for clients and clinicians who are provided with comprehensive access to referrals and training programs worldwide. Client resources include guidance about choosing a clinician, descriptions of EMDR, and current research.
