Burey Gold Limited was incorporated as Mamba Resources Ltd in March 2005 and changed its name to Burey Gold Ltd in March 2006, following an in-principle agreement to earn an interest in the Mansounia Project in Guinea, West Africa. "Burey" is the historical name of what was a very productive gold province in the ancient Mali Empire (11th to 14th century). Mansounia Project Highlights Earning 70% interest in the Mansounia Project. Independent JORC compliant resource of 1.08M ozs. Low-grade resource off-set by shallow ore body amenable to very low-cost mining. Close proximity to existing mining operations (Semafo 1.8kms away). Active exploration program in the next 3 – 6 months targeting an additional 500,000 ozs. Numerous in soil gold anomalies still to be tested. Primary source of mineralisation yet to be evaluated. Updated resource will provide a number of development options. Metallurgical studies show ore can be treated by traditional CIL methods with test work yielding high recoveries (> 90%). Strong local and Australian executive team. Primary uranium targets to be drilled next year on other regional projects.
