The Blacksburg Electronic Village is the community network for Blacksburg, Virginia. it is managed as an outreach effort of Virginia Tech, and the BEV group at the university provides a wide range of free and fee-based services to other communities worldwide. Research, education, and network services like web site hosting are part of the BEV group's activities.

The Los Altos Kiwanis Club is one of over 8,000 Kiwanis Clubs throughout the world. We are a group of about 40 men and women who live and work in Los Altos and neighboring communities. Our club is a service organization. Our desire to serve the community is the common interest that brings us together.

Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.
