CCOF is a non-profit membership based organic certification and trade association, dedicated to promoting and supporting organic food and agriculture. Since 1973, CCOF has been a leader in the organic marketplace providing premier organic certification programs for all stages of organic production and sales including organic processors, livestock operations, organic farms, retailers and restaurants. CCOF offers a competitive fee structure, professional service, international market access programs, organic marketing and PR support and political advocacy. As an active trade association and educational organization, CCOF provides superior service and value in organic certification. CCOF provides education organic market expansion and political advocacy to a broad constituency including organic farmers, processors, and consumers. CCOF's Organic Directory and the CCOF Magazine 'Certified Organic' provide educational opportunities about organic food and farming. CCOF is a member of the Organic Trade Association (OTA) and the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements. (IFOAM). CCOF is also accredited by the USDA under the National Organic Program, IFOAM, and for ISO 65 Guide Compliance by USDA/AMS.
