He graduated from the Louis Lumière School of Photography in Paris in 1974 and has been working as a professional photographer ever since, in France as well as in many other countries. Working with Sipa Press in Paris gave him the privilege to learn the ropes in an agency that has been rated one of the best private news agencies worldwide for the past thirty years. In 1979, winning Pierre Cardin’s confidence, Michel became his exclusive photographer. For nine years he shot a variety of subjects including celebrities, art, politicians, and of course, fashion. He continued after Cardin as a freelance photographer, working for clients such as Heineken, Bic, Maxim’s, CNN, NBC, Fabergé, Boucheron Fine Jewelry and Elf Aquitaine (Africa), just to name a few. In 1993, Michel opened his own photo studio/film-processing lab in Paris. He moved to Los Angeles in 1998. After two years spent in collaboration with Getty Images, Michel has been and is currently working as an independent celebrity photographer. Email Me
