Welcome to the Home page of the Lost Pines Chapter, Texas Master Naturalist Program. Visit our site to learn about the unique ecosystem of the Lost Pines of Central Texas and how to become a trained Master Naturalist volunteer to help manage our local natural resources. We serve Bastrop, Caldwell and surrounding counties and train Master Naturalist volunteers who provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas in the Lost Pines region.

The Hays County Master Naturalist» (HCMN) program is dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within our communities. To achieve these goals, the chapter provides training and volunteer opportunities to individuals who wish to learn about and promote the sustainable use, conservation, and maintenance of our natural resources. The program is presented through a collaborative effort of professionals from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, the Texas AgriLife Extension Service and other organizations, as well as past students of the Master Naturalist Program. HCMN is a chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist program, a statewide organization sponsored jointly by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Texas AgriLife Extension Service.

Texas Land Conservancy (TLC) is a private land trust dedicated to conserving land in Texas to benefit wildlife and to protect examples of our natural and cultural heritage.
