Brass encased sensors optimize the excellent thermal conductivity of brass for moderate temperature service. The cap is machined from C36000 brass when a good resistance to corrosion is required. When a high degree of corrosion resistance is required, such as marine environments, naval brass is used. Our standard sensor is a Nickel 120 ohm, brass sheath of 0.250” O.D. X 0.400” long, and 60” of 3-wire, Teflon® jacketed lead wire. RTD Pt 100 ohm, Thermocouples, and Thermistor’s are also available
