VisSim/Comm provides an ideal environment for the simulation, modeling and rapid prototyping of end-to-end communication systems at the signal or physical level. VisSim/Comm provides fast and accurate solutions for analog, digital and mixed-mode communications systems, and allows seamless movement among the stages of model construction, optimization and validation. Its code generation capability and link to the Code Composer Studio environment, allows designs to be easily implemented in a Texas Instruments C40 or C67 DSP. VisSim/Comm supports complex envelope notation and includes a comphrensive set of communication blocks, including signal sources, encoders and decoders, modulators and demodulators, filters, channels, RF elements, and PLLs. It includes support for 802.11 and Bluetooth designs. You can use any combination of these blocks to build, modify, and maintain communication systems. Its display capabilities allow the viewing of time-domain waveforms and frequency spectra at any point in the communication system chain. Models are constructed by simply selecting blocks from the menu and connecting them visually using the mouse. The block set can also be easily extended with custom designed blocks. Finally, diagrams can be shared easily with unlicensed users via a free view-only version of VisSim/Comm.
