Lake Associates Recreation Club or LARC is a friendly, family oriented club. People just like you, your friends, neighbors and co-workers are guests. The life-style here is clothing optional and we believe such an environment is ideal for family recreation. Visitors to our park are not required to disrobe, but weather permitting, nude recreation is the norm.

LARC is a private not-for-profit organization incorporated in 1964, that provides residential (group homes and SLA's), day services (Supported employment, small business enterprise, sheltered workshop, day service option), and community services (education, family supports, respite, advocacy, and social enrichment) to a diverse population of consumers with a variety of disabilities. LARC is committed to the philosophy of consumer-direction and has been in the forefront in the State of Connecticut in services throughout the organization. In September 1994, LARC embraced the philosophy and principles of self-determination (as described by New Hampshire Self-determination project) and in April 1995, LARC developed and implemented a set of Guiding Principles to ensure the organizations Vision of
