Mark penned and recorded the world's largest body of complete jazz versions of familiar epic Broadway musicals, film scores, and symphonies. His work includes complete jazz version of Mozart Symphony in G minor, and other unusual source material for jazz: .e.g., EVITA en Jazz, Jazz Fiddler On The Roof, , Sound Of Music in jazz, King and I in jazz, Rent in jazz, Rolling Stones (Stonejazz) and about 25 CDs as a leader. Mark Kramer's work has been listed under Mark Kramer Productions, Mark Kramer Jazz Piano trio, The Eddie Gomez-Mark Kramer Production Company and Trio, and Mythic Jazz records. Now a full time musician, he was known as Mark Kramer, M.D., Ph.D., a clinical research scientist who pioneered critical work in psycho-pharmacology in the early1980s through the late 1990s.
