The Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania (MHASP) is a non-profit citizen's organization that develops, supports and promotes innovative education and advocacy programs. MHASP serves adults, children and family members through our programs and advocacy efforts.

Associates in Mental Health consists of licensed clinical psychologists and licensed masters level therapists. AMH provides confidential mental health services including mental health assessments and therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

A mental illness is a disease that causes mild to severe disturbances in thought and/or behavior, resulting in an inability to cope with life's ordinary demands and routines. There are more than 200 classified forms of mental illness. Some of the more common forms of mental illness are depression, anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, dementia and schizophrenia.
