GRAVITY Research and Development - Recommendation quality does matter. - Gravity Technologies was founded in 2007 as a spinoff of Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Gravity led the „the ensemble” team which achieved the highest overall score (and was ranked 2nd) on Netflix prize, the most important data mining competition of recent years. The company uses the experience learned there to provide its customers state-of-the-art recommendation engines enabling them to significantly increase their income by personalized recommendations to their customers or users. Gravity’ goal is finding the best correspondence between personal taste and other user groups taste by sophisticated mathematical algorithms - we are developing recommendation systems that substantially improve the accuracy of the prediction how much a user is going to like a product. We believe that recommendation quality does matter and high quality recommendation offers additional revenues for our customers.
