The art world's waited over 90 years for a London DaDa expression. By 1920, DaDa had as its major international centres; Paris, Zurich, Barcelona, Hanover, Berlin and New York ...... but curiously no London movement. LONDON DADA, founded in 2005, is the 21st C. expression of the missing link in DaDa. D A D A, that cutting-edge scourge of the establishment, has re-surfaced and lives again though us, the New Dadaists. Radical free-thinking artists are invited to use their talents in an exciting new art movement -a cyber art and peaceful direct action protest-crusade against corrupt and sterile modern society value systems, including the hi-jacking of art itself by a creativity-stifling nepotistic clique-dominated arts and media snob club establishment, who have rendered contemporary art sterile and drained of depth, and turned the galleries into tawdry turn-stiled and largely talentless cheap-shot freak shows..... Our aim is to incubate by all DadaIStic means a new civilization, a new art enlightenment that totally eschews the mind-numbing mediocrity, the corruption and barbarity of the old worn-out value cogs of 20th C. "civilization" . We are currently holding out our threadbare beggar's cap for a New Dada champion, a wealthy discerning philanthropist to invest in the independent London Dada art gallery in Whitechapel.... someone who recognizes today's art and media as creatively and morally bankrupt, stagnant and geared solely towards profiting the privileged power-hungry few... and who feels passionately about an art regeneration based on fresh perceptions without the present political censorship, on innovation and on radical new principles. * * * * * Original artists, fellow Dadaists - you are invited to contribute to 691, London DaDa online journal and help change the art world and through that THE world, by New DaDa revolution.
