Marty O’Farrell began his diving career over 25 years ago in the cold waters of Northwestern United States. And has since logged many thousand of dive from Puget Sound in Seattle where he is from, down the west coast to Southern Mexico, including the Sea of Cortez and throughout the Caribbean sea. He started underwater filming in Caribbean Sea. He started underwater filming in 1996 in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize where he has lived for the better part of the last 10 years with his wife Carrie and son Michael. He can be found in the waters filming off the coast of Belize 5-7 days a week, collecting stock footage or working for film crews visiting beautiful country. He has done work for ESPN, ABC’s WVCB Boston Chronicle and National Affiliates, TV Asahi (Japan), German research team and vessel Aldebaran presented on ZDF German television, National Geographic, Associated Press, CNN, Reuters, History Channel - Cities of the Underworld. John Chatterton & Richie Kohler - Dive Portal to name just a few. His stock footage includes everything from Manatees of the Belize Cayes, to sharks in the Great Blue Hole to Mayan Ruins from the air and on land to the amazing underwater caves of the Yucatan.
