History and overview of Power Plant Service.

GE Infrastructure has been serving the power industry for more than a century. Since we installed our first steam turbine in 1901, our installed based of steam and gas turbines for power generation has grown to more than 10,000 units, representing more than 875 gigawatts (GW) of installed capacity in more than 120 countries. With a growing installed base of more than 6,500 wind turbines, 3,600 hydro turbines and 4,000 MW renewable, special and natural gas engines, our installed capacity of renewable energy exceeds 167,000 MW.
